Skill Samurai Membership Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Skill Samurai! We’re pleased to support your child’s journey in coding, maths and STEM learning. By enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to the following Membership Terms and Conditions. These ensure a safe, consistent and valuable experience for all students and families.
1. Membership OverviewMembership covers access to our weekly after-school coding classes, Maths tuition (MathCode Mastery), and/or other enrolled programs.Your child’s spot in their class is secured with an active membership.Memberships operate on a rolling basis and are billed fortnightly.
2. Fees & BillingFees are payable in advance via direct debit or card payment.All billing is continuous, including during school terms unless paused or cancelled with notice (see Section 5). We may also automatically pause memberships during school holiday periods if regular classes are not being offered.If your regular class falls on a public holiday, a free make up class applies.
3. Make-up SessionsIf your child misses a class, a make-up session may be arranged subject to availability.We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any planned absences. Make-up classes can be used at any time and do not expire.Missed sessions without notice may not be eligible for make-up or credit.
4. Student Conduct & ExpectationsWe aim to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. We expect students to be respectful to peers and staff.Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in temporary or permanent removal from the program at Skill Samurai’s discretion, with notice provided to parents/guardians.
5. Cancellation PolicyMemberships are ongoing and may be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ written notice via email.Notice must be sent to your local Skill Samurai centre’s email address.Membership fees will continue to be charged during the 30-day notice period, regardless of attendance.Failure to provide written notice will result in continued billing.
6. Program Changes & PausesIf you need to temporarily pause your membership (e.g. family holiday), we require a minimum of 14 days’ written notice.Pauses are granted at our discretion and are subject to class availability upon return.Skill Samurai reserves the right to adjust timetables, class sizes, or instructor assignments as needed, with notice to families.
7. School Holiday Camps & Additional ProgramsHoliday camps, birthday parties, and school programs are not included in regular memberships unless stated otherwise.These are booked separately and are subject to their own terms.
8. Photography & MediaOccasionally, we may take photos or videos for promotional purposes. You will be given the opportunity to opt out upon enrolment or by emailing us directly.
9. Liability & SafetyWhile we take every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, Skill Samurai is not liable for personal items lost, damaged, or stolen during classes.Parents/guardians are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, learning needs or behavioural considerations.
10. Policy UpdatesThese Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
