Covering key concepts such as events, loops, Cartesian coordinates, conditionals, variables, and randomization, we build a series of projects that teach kids how to build their own games and apps in Python using IDLE.
Upon completion of Python 1 Core, students will be ready for Python 2 Core.

Diving deeper into key coding concepts such as complex conditionals, loops, variables, inheritance, and recursion, students begin to become more independent with Python.
Upon completion of Python 2 Core, students will be ready for Python 3 Core.

Diving deeper into key coding concepts such as mathematical operators, functions, and complex loops we start to solve problems independently within the platform.
Python 3 introduces more complex games and projects, including multiplayer client server programming. Upon completion of Python 3 Core, students will be ready for other Skill Samurai Core Curriculum tracks or Electives.

Covering key concepts such as events, loops, conditionals, variables, and randomization, we build a series of projects that teach kids how to develop their own 3D games in Roblox. Students will build awesome games including Obstacle Courses, Adventure Maps, and a Pet Sim.
Upon completion of Roblox 1 Core, students will be ready for Roblox 2 Core.

Upon completion of Minecraft 1 Core, students will be ready for Minecraft 2 Core.

Diving deeper into key coding concepts like loops, inheritance, and randomization, students begin to become more independent with Java and Eclipse. Students will build exciting mods like lucky blocks, magic armor, custom biomes, and epic weapons.
Upon completion of Minecraft 2 Core, students will be ready for Minecraft 3 Core.

Minecraft 3 introduces more complex games and projects, accumulating all of the concepts we’ve covered up until now. Students will build exciting mods like grenades, infinite items, mobs with artificial intelligence, and rideable Ender Dragons.Upon completion of Minecraft 3 Core, students will be ready for other Core Curriculum tracks or Electives.

Ages 10+

Here we provide the basics of building your own website from the ground up. This project can be combined with the later JavaScript Elective to post custom web games on a custom website.

3D Game Dev Development delves into game making with the professional tool used by the pros to make best-selling games for major platforms.

Elective DYOUTUBE CHANNEL CREATION

Ages 12+

Our YouTube course if for kids who want to learn how to create an awesome YouTube channel. This course will give them the skills to create engaging videos. Kids will learn how to write scripts and storyboards, and how to create a brand that builds fan engagement. They will also develop production skills and discover the ways they can make money with their own YouTube channel.

Elective EROBOTICS


Ages 10+

Skill Samurai's VEX robotics curriculum guides students through the robotics build and competition process so that they can experience the joy and fun of robotics while learning programming and engineering concepts. VEX is an ideal platform for students to explore important STEM fundamentals and computer science concepts, and as such, students will engage in a series of fun challenges that puts their skills to the test.
