How long is the commitment
We see learning coding, just like learning any other language. It can't be mastered in a week or two. Many of our programs are designed to run the length of a school year. Our minimum commitment is 3 months. That gives your child enough time to get comfortable with the system and begin to see some progress.
Can shy kids participate comfortable?
Definitely, many of our students would be a bit more quiet. When they are together they find students who enjoy the same things they do. This inspires confidence and builds friendships.
Since 2017, Skill Samurai has been working to empower students' lives through education. Skill Samurai has sponsored a number of international projects: teaching sewing and business skills to women in Bangladesh, orphanage construction in India, and educating children in Nairobi.
Jayesh and Trisha Mehta are the proud owners of Skill Samurai Carlingford. As parents of two young boys, education and future readiness have always been at the heart of their family values. Like many parents in Carlingford, they want their children to not only do well at school but also build the skills that will prepare them for tomorrow’s world.
Their journey with Skill Samurai began with one simple question: “Would our kids enjoy this, and would it help them grow?” The answer inspired them to bring Skill Samurai to the Carlingford community—a place where children can strengthen their problem-solving, creativity, and confidence through coding and STEM.
For Jayesh and Trisha, Skill Samurai is more than just a program. It’s a way to nurture the next generation of innovators, giving local kids the same opportunities enjoyed by students in leading tech hubs worldwide. Their mission is to create a space where learning is engaging, challenging, and rewarding—helping children expand their horizons, think beyond limits, and build a bright future.
